MAGNIFICENT BODYGUARDS stars Jackie Chan as Ting Chung, the leader of a small but elite group of skilled warriors hired by a mysterious, beautiful princess to act as escorts and bodyguards to her and her dying brother on an epic quest to find a doctor able to cure the ailing prince. Their journey takes them through a notoriously dangerous mountain region populated by countless hordes of bandits and a deadly group of murderous monks in charge of an ingeniously booby-trapped temple.
Confronting mortal danger at every turn, Ting Chung and his brothers in arms face an even bigger challenge when they discover their clients have not been entirely open about the real reason for their endeavour and that even the lives of magnificent bodyguards are sometime considered expendable!
